A millisecond from a

perfect game.

The runner-up? My mental Roget's does not go beyond flamboyant, but that word can't be descriptive enough.

MAGAZINES

D _ _ E S T

Wager word
Contestant has 590 and can bet any or all.
She bet 90.
And as per the rules the next letter is filled in. She at least managed to get up to 680 after the I was filled in.

The opponent completely solved his puzzle in round 3 to wrap up the match and the second part of that round was not needed to be played.

As pointed out in early posts there are so many strange loopholes in this game.

Tuesday's episode had the category French Foods.

One of the answers was Gruyere, which is Swiss not French. Question writers need to get their facts straight.

Sana was not a dumb contestant. She was just your average young contestant who got unlucky with questions before her time.

As I said before, I feel like an older gentleman when watching this show. :ugeek:

I wonder if Daryl Hannah was watching this?

Sometimes we make fun of the players.
Spoiler
Other times it's the opposite. Jamie's second get of the game was the impressive CHARCUTERIE and from that moment I had the game and $10,000 wrapped up for him. Jamie ran his solo board easily to make the bonus round and ripped through all 9 clues with plenty of time left to win the big bucks. He was very good, better than the other players, and he knew it.

The only disappointment was his category picking as his first pick was not '90s TV and the category omitted in the bonus round was Judge Judy.

The 4/6 ep. had "The Brady Bunch" return (not picked earlier in the season) for a puzzle option in the first round and this time the contestant went there first, bless his heart. Not only did the gentleman get his first three answers, he knew the answers as it was obvious he was familiar with the show. Leah had me beaming when she also clearly indicated she knew the show with her added comments about pork chops and the football throw.

It was very satisfying to see the guy who left Pro Wrestling out get burned by the other games/sports type with Billiards.

Montana Fats? Nope. Michigan Fats? Nope. Third time's the charm. 6 on a table and 2 on the front of your pants? Crickets. :o He really was behind the eight ball on that category.

Average GSN contestants can't get Hora even with ONE LETTER missing. No surprise there.

Season ends on Friday and then the thread can rest for a while.

Nearly impossible "split" in bowling

Great timing for this as on Sunday it was picked up on TV for the 4th time when 18-year-old Anthony Neuer converted it.

GSN lied to everyone’s face. This whole week they said that tonight was going to be a special “Dancing with the Stars” edition, but they did a military episode instead. I know it was Veteran’s Day, but still. A heads up wouldn’t have killed anyone.

It didn't affect me at all. I'm just saying GSN made a false advertisement.

When karma hits a People Puzzler contestant when they say, “play it hard”.

He chose the category One-Named Celebrities.

Two of the first questions he got were Nostradamus and Roget.

Definitely a Friday episode for being the kind to bury at the end of the week. Same with today's ep. of Tug of Words. That was really bad to choke away a two-space lead to hand over $1000. For the bonus round my precall was never over 3 as I knew the $10K was safe.

Next week shows eps. 102-106. With the expectation that a season ends on a number divisible by 5 we can't be at the end yet.

I'm wondering if there is some kind of syndication deal in play like happened with America Says and the season order could go as high as 150?

With 65 in the first season perhaps just 115 is enough to sell it?

Yesterday's show was quite good to make up for the mess of today's Friday ep.
