It took until Wednesday before I really started to like her hosting, and by Friday I was thinking she could be the choice.

Personally I don’t think she’s “the one”, but I wouldn’t be unhappy if she is chosen.

Another 8 for me while I would have gone 8.5 if there were in between options.

Robin brought energy and enthusiasm to the stage and each day seemed to be "WIRW" for "What is Robin wearing". That Wednesday dress was something to see.

My ears detected some clue re-readings over the days though credit to the show workers for making any redos almost seamless.

For the five days I got a "Can I get an amen?" vibe to the show as Robin almost made the proceedings seem a bit spiritual with ever present joy.

It's easy to see why Robin has been on air for nearly 30 years and I enjoyed having a host who likes and knows sports.

Last week I asked for some heart. This week I got it. RR brought a genuine warmth added to her skill. And such a striking presence.
There was a moment in Darwin Wu's game when he missed his Daily Double. RR made a distressed noise, then said Go again, Darwin. For a second, I thought she'd called him darlin'...and I was fine with it!

In the unlikely event TPTB chose her, I would be absolutely fine with it.

I would have said 8, but deducted a point due to so many of her episodes leaving clues unplayed.

I give Robin an 8 for being an ideal guest host for a week. But as a candidate for the long-term gig, I would rank her several rungs below Mayim and Ken.

I enjoyed her run. For me, personality matters more than keeping the trains running on time. She was having a lot of fun and I liked watching her host.

My current rankings:
Ken Jennings: 10
Anderson Cooper: 9
Dr. Oz: 9
Buzzy Cohen: 8
Savannah Guthrie: 8
Robin Roberts: 7
Aaron Rodgers: 7
Mike Richards: 6
George Stephanopoulos: 5
Sanjay Gupta: 4
Katie Couric: 2
Bill Whitaker: 1
Mayim Bialik: 1
My lucky numbers are 6, 66, and 666.

I found her thoroughly enjoyable and engaging. I share with many other posters an appreciation of the manifest joy she brought to her hosting. I don't know how that would have worn over the long term, but on Friday I was thinking it would have been very nice to see her for at least another week.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Looking at your rankings, I am reminded of my longtime study section director at the NIH who would always chide us when reviewing proposals to “avoid score compression!”

I was impressed with how she did the job and I don't mind having her as the new host, but I think Sony is most likely going to give Ken the job unless it's Mayim.

I have always liked Robin and thought she did a wonderful job. Her enthusiasm seemed genuine and her support of the players was great. I would be very content if she got the job.

I would expect she's in the category of professionals not really in the running. Those who want the job seem to have made their wishes known.

Admittedly I didn't watch her week all the way through to the end, but I wasn't a fan of her pacing.

They's have to move taping to the east coast to make it even possible, I would think...

Pat Sajak lives in Annapolis, MD. So, no, they wouldn't have to move.

How weird was it when the guy said “Let’s make it a True Daily Double” and she said, “I’ve waited my whole life to hear that.”
