Idioms will very often have more than one acceptable variance.
A first scene with a reference to sinking?...gotta be The Tempest, though it's easy to forget that Alonso is a king, not just a duke or something...Twelfth Night's shipwreck is in the 2d scene...King Lear is in charge in the first scene of his play, characters don't think he's sinking...
