Full credits alert.

The show also promoted there would be one of those "Overheard" videos about the after chat.

3 all-in DDs and two connected for five figures. Andrew lost 4800 on DD1 and Dane doubled 13800 on DD3. Yet, Dane still trailed for the FJ! round thanks to Andrew betting his 12400 farm on DD2 in a second box.

I matched the gentlemen on the FJ! clue with no detours.

J! is a funny game as Dane had his worst Coryat and his highest score.

I'd be interested if anyone had to reason out this Final and did so successfully. To my mind, this one was kind of an instaget, YEKIOYD Final.

I'd have missed it if it hadn't come up in LL last season. (I missed it then.)

Did today's game (if you have seen it yet) remind you at all of your stint on the show?

Yeah, that $2000 clue got me as well as I only could recall her first name in time. I figured that category was going to cost you today.

This game is a loss for the Intermediate Form of Shore's Conjecture. The second-place player bet "big." --Bob

Is this the highest final total of someone who didn't win? I'd think it'd be up there at least.

No, that record belongs to Adam Levin, with $53,999, who lost to James Holzhauer by $18.

Indonesia immediately came to mind, but I wasn't sure it was mostly in the southern hemisphere. So I had to run down the list to Brazil, and at that point it was the only possible answer.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

What list, most populous countries? There's only 1 in between Indonesia and Brazil (Pakistan), so it shouldn't have taken too long. ;)

And bad wager by Dane.

And when I was running down the list I thought Brazil was #5, so it was even shorter :D

Not me. I spent much of the break mentally going over countries with the largest populations, and I knew Indonesia was well up on the list. And "primarily in the Southern Hemisphere" or however it was phrased, led me there instantly.

Now, I know different people, both contestants and we fans at home, all have our knowledge bases and our black holes in which we know nothing. But I was really agog when Mary stood and stared at the clue asking for a 3-letter word, beginning with "B," connected to Louisville.

Meanwhile I was tickled to pick up $5K in LT on only three clues (bat, monotreme, and protocol.

Well played game indeed by the two guys, who both picked up enough even before FJ to be a good day's winning total most days. I'll be most interested to watch Andrew's defense tomorrow.
