In some ways it seemed like I had already watched this game today.

That completes week 1 of S9.

DJ17 seems to be missing a "was".

Another to add to the list of J! players with famous names: Fred Perry

The tracking line on the recording played havoc with the bottom part of each clue so no way I caught everything that needs to be fixed.

Correction suggestions:
J1: comma after "to date"?
J2: "In 1824", not "N 1824"
J3: "By the end," not "Be the end"
J10: period after "N.Y"
DJ6: Pocahontas misspelled in the response field

Thanks for the fixes, done. No comma on J1 with typical 1993 clue word count not always including everything that could be there.

I went ahead and changed "dnager" to "danger" myself, since I'm at my home computer.

I remember seeing Tim's games in the summer 1995 weekend reruns, and I can tell you that he got defeated in his third game by someone named Leah Bailey who only won $2,800 that day.

Tim won even though his wrong question was wrong.

S11:88
S12:178
S13:215
S14:229 (New Year’s Day)
S15:229
S19:228 (Iraq War begins)

Only four missing games in 25 seasons. Nice work. I keep hoping Sony sets up a Jeopardy channel one day.

That is quite a long time between passing and funeral. November 18 - March 15.

The players and game shell are in for the YT game above: https://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7400

I picked 5/2/86 for a non-Monday since Alex said Stuart won yesterday. For Chris I went with Sevilla for last name since Alex asked about two possible pronunciations.

My plan is to get some of the game in later tonight. I may or may not finish until later tomorrow afternoon since the OCR does not seem to like the quality of the recording.

As more information comes to light it's easy enough to fix the game entry approximations.

As to be expected, double digit W, double digit TS and clues unplayed. I've seen worse, though.

I wish DJ2 had been the FJ! clue for today's 6/29/22 game. :)

Big thanks to Chuck Donnegan we have a 1985 episode that's currently not in the J! Archive

This is in all likelihood from December 5th, 1985 as Alex notes that Jared Eisenstat was going for his 4th win.

Thanks all around. I put in the partial for 12/6/85 and at the time a board member shared Dec. 2-6 for Jared's run.

I probably won't get to it today, but I can archive it Fri. or Sat. Long Beach, Reseda, Ed & Susan are easy enough. That leaves the challengers surnames. For Ed I heard something in the area of Cundent to Kundan and of course he could be an Edward professionally when trying to Google him. Susan can be Mayer, Maier and variations from there.
