It was, which is also the top game on my list of bookmarks. Good to know, and thanks.

I added the Marvin Shinkman #2: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6435

POTPOURRI $500: It occurred September 27, 1927, in Yankee Stadium during the 8th inning

Marvin got while I would not take any bets on the players from this week's 10/3 game getting it.

I would have guessed Babe Ruth calling his home run.

When I watched this episode, I thought it was funny that Greg's interview involving his impression of Don Pardo's bit from "I Lost on Jeopardy" (which had to get cut off because of the brand names mentioned) presaged his flame-out in the game.

Looks like the $200 clue for BEGINS & ENDS WITH "A" has got your goat.

(And 1 more guess of "called shot" here.)

Folks, those of you who are archiving Marvin Shinkman's run, Day 2 of Marvin Shinkman's should be changed to #447 or May 27, 1986 and Day 5 of his run should be May 30, 1986 or show #450 and Day 4 of his run should also be changed to May 29, 1986 or show #449(which has been in the trading circuit for more than a decade by now).

The changes for the dates are done and I've begun Shinkman #5 which I hope to finish before church (it's still Saturday for me) tomorrow morning.

Marvin Shinkman #5 is done: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6436

Alex mentioned that researcher Carlo Panno prepared all of the material for the game. I did not know if that kind of thing gets a special line for the game or not.

Alex erred on math when he said the players picked up 7300 in the first round, as the total was 7500.

Myron likes new things in the Archive and TV $1000 fits the bill.

DD2 was called a Video Daily Double though not with anything added to the Daily Double graphic. Font fans would like seeing the clue in the style of that typeface.

I filled in 3/4/02: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=1449

The mercifully few links should work.

Kevin (3x $44,001) found DD3 at clue 30 with the scores:
Susan: 18800
Kevin: 8400
Omid: 2600

The wager turned out not to matter since the FJ! clue was a triple solve.

2900? Booo!

I would like to think that FJ! clue if played in October 2019 would break the streak of no FJ! clues 3/3 sweep.

Susan played a strong game and I can imagine the posts that would have pegged her for more success. Nope, you never know when you're going to run into a ToCer.

I filled in 3/20/02: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=1725

Cindy D'Agostino & Bobby Padgett & Matt Scarpino played in the game.

Bobby's page did not have a message board handle though I seem to recall his hanging out with us on a previous incarnation.

Did Alex comment on Cindy only giving a first name?

He's always accepted on J! with just the first name. It's the Oprah rule? Ellen rule?

Here is what I added to the FJ! round page:

(Alex: Cindy D'Agostino,
we come to you first. Which two men
did you think of? "Who are [*] and [*]"? The president was giving him
some kind of a badge--a special agent
for narcotics badge.)
[The first name only for the first man written by Cindy was accepted without delay.]

Thanks for the research and recall. I gave Bobby a user name line on his bio.

Thanks. I don’t have a problem with it, just wondering if he brought it up. Glad you added the explanation of the photo.

In the category of something is better than nothing I added 12/20/90: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6457

It's a partial game found here: https://www.facebook.com/nthnhwtt/video ... cation=ufi

with 2 games edited into 13 minutes and change leading to of course a lot missing. There were some peeks at the scoreboard though not enough. Thanks to my scoresheet for that game I know where the DDs were located. The rest is a lot of guesswork and messing around to get the numbers to work.

I'll tackle the second game at a later time.
