That's a Baader-Meinhof for me - I can't remember ever seeing or hearing the name E.J. before today's game, and here another one pops up, and in similar context no less.

I had never heard of Baader-Meinhof before, which means I will now hear about it twice in the coming week.

Maybe from myself.

Add EJ Dionne of the Washington Post. Frequently on NPR All Things Considered as political commentator on the week's events with David Brooks.

I'm more likely to treat the next occurrence as a "vuja de" - I've never seen this before!

I thought maybe we were welcoming "Cardinal Sin" into the J-Canon, but nope, he also shows up in 2008.

Semi-related, the author of "Cardinal Sins" has 3 hits in the Archive, the most recent being in 1998. That means he's probably on one of my scorecards somewhere, but I'd say "I never heard of him" today.

Madeline would have made wildcard if she bet it all.

One nice bonus from adding seniors games is a category like RADIO DRAMA that almost always has something unfamiliar to me to learn. I then enjoy using YT to get a sample of the programming.

Muffy’s game show rap sheet has a lot of items and let me know if I missed something. Tough year for wildcards with 8300 not enough and 8850 last in.

I for one was very curious as to how Muffy did not make it out of the QF round (I only learned recently she was a former Teen contestant). Thanks for getting this game in, and all the other tourney games you have done recently.

I've got two to add for Muffy's rap sheet. After her $0 win on The Chase (her teammates ended up defeating the Beast, IIRC), she was a part of Robert Dimitri's second-chance team on The Chase, splitting a $105,000 pot three ways (source: Millionaire Wiki, I couldn't remember off hand). I don't have an exact date, but it appears to be January 27, 2015 (Click the link, command+F and type in 105,000; there's only one game listed with that result).

If you're accounting for +1 appearances, Muffy was also a Millionaire +1 for Raj Dhuwalia (scroll to $30k).
Dumb college kid. Go BR!

Thank you. I added the lines for Muffy.
For Robert I added the teaming up with Muffy though don't have his original appearance: http://www.j-archive.com/showplayer.php?player_id=11969

I can add a line for Robert being a +1 though I cannot recall which game for that credit.

From a directing standpoint, I take it this was likely when the "over-the-shoulder" Daily Double shot begun; a show from regular play in February had the "full screen" DD shot.

She was also the +1 for Peter Morris (her brother) on 12/10/18 (they were in the Green Room with me).

The whole season was taped in the summer. My notes show Peter Morris on 12/7/18 and Peter Osterweil on 12/10/18. Peter Morris did not use his +1 and left with $5,000.

Tomorrow I am adding Peter Morris and his Teen semifinal game so that will be a good time to add to his 1998 and his new page.

I seemed to have taped this tournament scattered on at least 3 tapes and have not turned up QF 2 or 3 yet. The rest I will get in at some point although I’m going to finish the 1987 Seniors QF round this week.

I will finish the 1987 Seniors next week unless someone has a skip ahead request for a different tournament game.

I'd like to put in a request for Phoebe Juel's quarterfinal and semifinal games of the 1993 College Tournament if possible.

No game tomorrow as I will be watching the soccer match at noon instead of preparing a game for the Archive like a typical afternoon. And stopping any wise guys, no, not Chile vs. Thailand.

Phoebe Juel already has plenty of pics available in the Archive.

CELEBRITY ASTROLOGY $400 did not work out too well and the $500 clue reads differently in the 21st century.

10799 was last WC in so Andi did the right thing with her wager.
