This is terribly sad. If it's to be recorded here, it'd be respectful to get it right. The young man's first name was Tyler, and he appears to have been on one episode of "911: Lone Star." He was a regular on a streaming series, "Just Add Magic: Mystery City," for which he received an Emmy nomination.

I just watched the Tim Burton movie for the first time on Netflix on June 26/27 and when, at the end, they said that she was still alive and showed the picture of her seated with Amy Adams, who played her in the movie, I thought to myself, "I better double-check that for trivia purposes."

The other thing I meant to check was whether the real Walter Keane had a German accent, like his portrayer Christoph Waltz. Nope. He was from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lenny Von Dohlen, who played played the agoraphobic Harold Smith on Twin Peaks, has died at 63.

I remember Von Dohlen more for an obscure movie from 1984, Electric Dreams. It's a romantic comedy about a nerd whose PC becomes sentient, and the two of them end up in a rivalry for the affections of their attractive neighbor, played by Virginia Madsen in one of her earliest roles.
