Non-political Political Item of Interest - J vs WOF
I saw a map made based on which airs first, Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune. Each state was color coded based on which comes first for the majority of the citizens of each state (some states have WOF first in some markets with J first in other markets).
For no real reason, I wondered which would win in a Presidential election based on this, and went to 207towin.com to make the map.
The score was 268 for Jeopardy, 267 for Wheel; but I kept Washington, DC neutral as both the J and WOF websites using zip code 20500 have each show airing at 7pm, so maybe someone who lives there could decide this election?

Is that on a DC station, or maybe a Baltimore station? Is there an OTA way to see Jeopardy before Wheel in DC?

As Fleeboy said, that's the DC station. It does air the other way around (J! then WOF) in Baltimore. If you're in a good spot, you can sometimes get the Baltimore stations OTA, but the vast majority of people in the DC metro area see WOF first.triviawayne wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 11:11 amIs that on a DC station, or maybe a Baltimore station? Television stations do not neatly operate in States. They operate in television markets, many of which overlap into neighboring states.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

what about markets that only show one or the other? Does such a thing exist?

I guess that means 4 more years of President Sajak and VP White.

My parents live in Central Florida, when I visit I can watch either show at either 7 or 730 since their location gets both Orlando and Tampa stations.
It’s Polk County, literally the only reasons to go there are that or to see my parents. Or Legoland if you have young children.

"airs in DC" and "on the DC station" are two different things, which is why I asked for clarification.alietr wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 11:36 amAs Fleeboy said, that's the DC station. But happy you were able to answer the question; that puts WOF over the top.

"saw a map" - this is not based on my own research.
"based on which comes first for the majority of the citizens of each state" - so...no.
