If I were still trying to get on the show, I think I'd make this a daily discipline and keep track of my results to hone my DD hunting instinct.
This is very good advice. As someone who dove back into the pool this afternoon, I'm going to integrate it into my daily practice regimen.
All I ask is 5% of your eventual winnings. Or a shout out from the podium. Or a wave when Johnny Gilbert introduces you, and I'll know it's to me. You know, whatever.
Oh, and keep an eye out for that question I had: do DDs tend to avoid side-by-side columns or does that not affect the probability one way or the other? (If the placement was random with the only rule being that the categories had to be different, what are the odds that the DDs would be in adjacent columns anyway?)

I got FJ by fighting the urge to switch to Stuart.
I would have guessed that Bruce was an honorific not a surname - why is it always Robert "the" Bruce, anyway?
I succumbed to Stuart.
Robert the Bruce's great^4 grandfather was Robert I de Brus. If I remember our guide at Edinburgh Castle correctly, the family originated in France several generations earlier, and de Brus ("of Brus") became Anglicized (Gaelicized? Scotticized?) to "the Bruce."
Wikipedia wrote: Robert I de Brus, 1st Lord of Annandale (c. 1070–1141) was an early-12th-century Anglo-Norman lord and the first of the Bruce dynasty to hold lands in Scotland.

Guaranteed Matt Amodio and Amy Schneider get that Gerald Ford DD. Mattea Roach I'm not so sure about.
Wasn’t presidents a big weak spot for Amy?
You may be right but with the clue all to herself and the extra time to think it through, I don't see her missing this one.
Plus, I think the ones she had trouble with were usually further back in history.
I don’t know what the stats are but it appears that most leaders in this spot have gone for the $1 wager since the show put an end to co-champions. That said, Ryan’s previous gameplay would lead one to believe that $0 was going to be his wager.
Dunno how they are going to seed the TOC, but if they do so by most games won, he is now in 5th place by himself, which could mean he avoids the four 10+ game winners in Game 1.

Given “end of Vietnam” it was pretty much a coin flip. We ended conflict in 1973 but South Vietnam hung on for a couple more years. I did get it right.

Indubitably Doesn't Remind me of Schoolhouse Rock. It always reminds me of Frank Nelson On The Jack Benny show.
"Your train has been delayed in Definitely. "
"Indefinitely?"
"Definitely is just west of Cucamonga. "
"Do we have to change trains?"
"In Dubitably."
"Indubitably?"
"Dubitably is 10 miles east of Definitely."
Is that the same bit that includes “Anaheim, Azusa, and Cuuuuucamonga”?

Dunno if Schoolhouse Rock had that gag, but it was in many Looney Tunes cartoons much earlier, usually spoken (shouted, really) by Daffy Duck.

Is it possible that if Ryan is champ at the end of regular season play he would be in next year’s tournament rather than this years?
at this point, I don't know if we know. It depends on if the TOC is based on season or on year to year as in from previous TOC to next TOC (has this been stated somewhere?). I would expect him to lose by November.

dove back in as in had your 2nd zoom?
Passing anytime test is showing up at the club.
Proctored Zoom test is getting that swimsuit on.
2nd Zoom with mock game is diving into the pool.
good luck, I hope Pyramid doesn't ruin your time in the water.

Yeppers. I think I did as good of a job as I possibly could have, and infinity times better than my previous two auditions. It'll be a full year since my Pyramid airdate by the time they start filming again, so I doubt that will be a big deal. I think this is my time, but we shall see.

Yes. But they did that line every time they had a train station sketch. This episode should be watched in its entirety. Here is part 2.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.
