Name The Ten Trivia Contest: Round 10

Post by harrumph »

There will be a potpourri Rounds 11 and 12 that will diverge somewhat from the name ten format. Plenty of bonus points will be available for a potential comeback win for those trailing. Those rounds will be posted next Monday and Tuesday.

One point for each correct answer. You are limited to ten responses per question, unless the question stipulates a different number. For questions with bonus points, you will receive ten points for your first ten correct responses but no bonus points if any of your subsequent responses is incorrect.

This round contains six questions.

Round 10

Name the ten most populated cities in China.

Name ten New York state governors (one bonus point for each additional five named; 15 = 11 points, 20 = 12 points, etc).

Name ten novels by Charles Dickens.

Name ten bands with the name of a color in their name (excludes personal names and nicknames; one bonus point for each additional five named; 15 = 11 points, 20 = 12 points, etc).

Name the elements numbered 11 through 30 on the periodic table (list up to 20 responses; 20 points available. One extra bonus point for naming all the elements with their atomic number).

Name ten people who have been legally executed in the US (including colonial times; one bonus point for each additional five named; 15 = 11 points, 20 = 12 points, etc).
