2012 Summer Hiatus Challenge -- Round 1, Day 5

Post by DadofTwins » Fri Aug 03, 2012 12:50 pm

Here is Day 5.

Scoreboard link: http://shc2012.gregorygauthier.com/standings.php

In consideration of some players having religious obligations that keep them from playing on Saturdays and/or Sundays, Day 6 always goes up early. Look for "tomorrow's" game some time around 6 p.m. CDT.

I'm looking at the Instant Replay thread to see if there needs to be an RQ on Day 4, and if there's a way to do one without breaking the Scoring Program. Look for something on that early next week.

Here we go.

INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARIES & BORDERS

2: The largest country in the world that does not border any other country.

4: The most recently-drawn international border is an approximately 1,200 mile line separating these two countries.

6: Of the fourteen countries that border this one, the longest borders are with Russia and India and the shortest border is with Afghanistan.

8: This country has a 3,400 km border with Bolivia and a 673 km border with France.

10: The longest international border in Africa spans 2,511 km between the Democratic Republic of Congo and this former Portuguese colony to the south.

GOING POSTAL

From the brilliantly devious mind of Paucle. All answers can be spelled using USPS two-letter state
abbreviations.

3: This Texas city is home to Baylor University.

6: This 2010 animated film starring Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt boasted a cast of minions.

9: It had its final landing in November of 2003.

12: It's the largest moon in the Solar System

15: The only current Supreme Court Justice whose last name fits the category.
