2: Place this punctuation mark between the name of two sports teams to indicate that the host team for their contest is the one on the right.

4: Musical meaning of the punctuation mark used on Twitter to signify a “hashtag.”

6: Mathematical function called for by the punctuation mark at the end of the titles of the musicals Oklahoma and Oliver.

8: Aside from the quotation mark, this mark is the most-often-used piece of punctuation in the titles of Jeopardy categories.

10: This punctuation mark was used to define string variables in BASIC computer programming.

GRAMMY-WINNING ROCK BANDS

3: The first Grammy for Best Rock Album was not presented until 1995, when this band won for “Voodoo Lounge.”

6: This Irish band has won Best Rock Album twice, most recently for “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.”

9: This band set a record by winning its fourth Best Rock Album Grammy in 2012, for “Wasting Light.”

12: The first artist to win two Best Rock Album Grammys was this former Michael Jackson backup singer whose “If It Makes You Happy” was that year's Best Female Rock Vocal.

15: This album, the first recorded by E Street Band in 18 years, contained Bruce Springsteen's reflections on the September 11 attacks.
