Yep. Karen Dotrice's role is bigger in it than that of the other kid whose name I can't remember, though. [edit: Matthew Garber]squarekara wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 2:58 pmYes! If I recall correctly, you can see them in "The Three Lives of Thomasina" too. In the month of April I doubt I will see anything funnier than the WrestleMania match between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville. Bob Saget must be looking down (or up) and be very happy.

Re: Reretaken Down
When Jeopardy! increased the prize money in 2001 the third place prize of $1,000 could purchase many tacos. Neglecting taxes, a third place contestant in 2001 could have bought and eaten 1,449 crunchy tacos at Taco Bell, which were $0.69 each.
Now, the third place contestant cannot purchase as many tacos. A third place contestant in 2022 can only buy and eat 840 tacos, at the new price of $1.19 each. This is fewer tacos.
I think the prize money should be increased so that all contestants that appear on Jeopardy! are able to purchase and eat at least 1,000 tacos.

I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.

The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

Indulge me here, please. I thought it notable that both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times crossword puzzles, this past Sunday, included a particular 5-letter entry, which they clued the following ways: "Less common navel variety" and "Body feature that approximately 10 percent of people have" , but not so notable that I should sign up at a crossword forum and possibly wait for approval, by which time my excitement would likely have worn off.

What's the lead time on crossword puzzles? That five-letter term -- along with its opposite -- is frequently used in the Apple TV+ series "Severance," which released its first two episodes on February 18. (On the show, it doesn't refer to navels.)Lefty wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 12:18 am Indulge me here, please. After taking the test for the first time in 1995 and recording games for studying purposes I would at first ignore reviewing those kind of clues I got right. As I went along in the process I started looking at secondary parts of clues that would be helpful to recall. I do understand how it went for you back then and then this week.LucarioSnooperVixey wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 5:15 pmI got it from "worn on the head at nighttime". I mean, I do pay attention to secondary parts of clues relating to topics that interest me, such as the history clues and the geography clues. But not clues like that one that aren't really quiz related.MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 5:33 pmAfter taking the test for the first time in 1995 and recording games for studying purposes I would at first ignore reviewing those kind of clues I got right. The Chuck Lorre vanity card that aired after tonight's Young Sheldon made me smile and seems like a good one to share here.

I get the L.A. Times delivered every day. I'm the only person in my 40-unit apartment building who gets a physical newspaper, and that's been the case for almost the entire 17 years I've lived here. (For about a year, one of my neighbors got the L.A. Times on Sundays only.)
