Do you know where this person went to college?
The woman who tweeted it refused to say where she went, though speculation was that it was Michigan State.
I think the only recent MSU College Championship participant was her:

Interesting that that was the college championship that I was in the pool for (nobody from my audition group was selected to play in the tournament, though).

The September 2021 issue of Reader's Digest had a J! player quoted in "Laugh Lines" (spoiler only to reduce the size of the post)

That's the case for many, if not most, monthly magazines.

Pretty sure comic books did that, too.

Car manufacturers do it on a yearly level
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Shadows (5), Foxy Brown (7), Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6)

And my kids. It's not uncommon for one of the them to call and say, "I need a new [phone/laptop/tires/crib/lawn mower ...] but can't afford it for a few months. Can we count it as next year's Christmas gift?"

As close as I can tell, my daughter is at Christmas 2034.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

And the U.S. Mint with its new coins each year. (Don't know if this is also true for Bitcoins.)

Doing research, I had to guess how far ahead of time the issues of Newsweek were. I think they were published as much as a week and a half ahead of the date on the magazine.
So, if I wanted to find the history of something that happened, say, somewhere around March 13, 1974, I'd have to look first at the issue of March 25. Very annoying.

Not much of a reason to get this off page 2:

J! is not the only show with laughable CC errors. The captioner for Toon In With Me had INTERPOL in Leon, France.

I was watching the Turner Classic Movies broadcast of Witness for the Prosecution and in the host's introduction, the closed caption said that the character played by Charles Laughton is a brilliant but ill barista...
A couple of sentences later they got it right as barrister, so I have to think it was a machine making the error...

Lynn Yu has started a daily feature called "Yu Oughta Know" that has five daily current events questions. You subscribe and receive it via email. It has been an excellent way to keep up on not only current events, but pop culture as well. It's worth the few seconds each day to read it. You can find it here:
