It didn't work on my work browser (IE) but it did on my phone (Safari) and home (Safari) ones, all presumably going to google.ca

And my browser is set not to redirect to google.ca.
I should try it on my phone (Android with Opera).
Edit: It works on my phone. That is waaaaaaay cool!

My Canada comment was meant to be a joke. We need the blue font on here.

It never ceases to amaze me the relative value of questions on different quiz shows.
On Jeopardy!, in 1986, for $100 (Adjusted to ~$217 in 2015 dollars)
On Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, for $500,000 (?!?)
And, the guy walked away on 5th Grader. With two cheats left. @_@

Re: Reretaken Down
I'm watching a college basketball game between Kansas and Vanderbilt right now. Vandy's coach is one Kevin Stallings; he's been there since 1999, according to the telecast. Despite that, I still recall him from when he coached at Illinois State during the '90s, because I grew up in the Peoria media market, and the local stations aired ISU and Bradley basketball games frequently.
Every time I catch a Vanderbilt game on TV, I'm always amazed that Coach Stallings looks exactly as I remember him from the mid-90s. He was born in 1960; he's not particularly old for a basketball coach. However, he's tall, bald, slightly overweight, and in a perpetually disheveled appearance. He's not looking good for his age; he just looked much older than he was twenty years ago. All it makes me think is how I'm possibly still a quarter-century away from looking the right age.
Just for reference, this is what he looks like today...
...And this is what he looked like as an assistant at Purdue in the late 1980s...

Great to see Bart Starr at the Favre ceremony. He has had serious health issues in the past year and for him to make the trip up there was very classy of him.

When I think of Bart Starr now, all I can think of is John Facenda saying "But for Bart Starr and the Green Bay Packers, there would be another day." Which I think I know from being used as a riff on "Mystery Science Theater 3000."Bamaman wrote:Great to see Bart Starr at the Favre ceremony. Have you ever experienced something that makes you incredibly excited, but you no one to confide in who would understand it?
I'm feeling that way right now.
I can't give specifics here, because it would compromise the status of the TD I'm hosting in two weeks, so I'm just going to attach this GIF.

RIP Robert Loggia, even if your FJ response in this game was mortifying.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Sorry, that's not it. I've fallen out of the loop on baseball lately: since WGN's national feed doesn't air Cubs games anymore, I missed the memo that they're good again, and I hate the management of my current hometown team (the Braves) so much that I've stopped watching them.MarkBarrett wrote:You're not a fan of the Diamondbacks are you?9021amyers wrote:Have you ever experienced something that makes you incredibly excited, but you no one to confide in who would understand it?

Re: Reretaken Down
One of many things I hate about Facebook posts is when people ask something they can easily find out on their own quicker than waiting for a response.
On my local town's page this weekend someone asked how late the local doc in a box was open. And someone else wanted to know what time Wal-Mart was taking Santa pictures. I really wanted to tell them to call them and ask, but then I look like a jerk.
