If Carson is elected we can all take a nap for 4 years. I'd like to see Trump win just for the laughs, and to see how long it takes him to put his name on the White House.
When Hillary takes office in 2017, she will be 69. Hopefully she will die in office.

Yup.

With all the ugliness in comments on news/political sites, I've appreciated that there was very little political talk and even less nastiness here. I have strong opinions of my own, but I can manage not to wish anyone dead on or off-line. Also, Reagan was 16 days shy of 70 at inauguration, and John McCain would have been 72 and about 5 months.
I would suggest we treat the board like a tricky family Thanksgiving and avoid religion, politics, etc, unless we can be civil.

So, y'all can say what ever nasty things you like about conservatives, or me, because I am conservative, but I crossed some sort of line? I call BS.

Wishing you dead is verboten. Wishing a public figure like Hilary dead is verboten. Wishing that jerk that blocks bpmod's bus dead is verboten. Only one of those lines was crossed. You'd accept a liberal casually wishing death on a GOP candidate as the norm? I used to post on a board where one of the admins said he hoped everyone at a Tea Party rally would die. When I complained, he pretty much told me to deal with it.Volante wrote:You'd accept a liberal casually wishing death on a GOP candidate as the norm? Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
(I'm disappointed, but not at all surprised, that a group of intelligent people this diverse would eventually fall into a political conversation. Today is Election Day in the US. I thought the question mark provided that subtext. Some of the best jokes are the ones where the punchline is left as an exercise for the reader.9021amyers wrote:That needs a non-committal response in the subscript.arjavrawal wrote:It is with that in mind, 9021amyers, that I present my best masterpiece yet. I've always wanted to see this sung Sonny & Cher style, as a sort of antithesis to "I Got You Babe".

Meh. He's far the from the first to have occupied the White House, and I don't see why that's relevant, anyway.Vanya wrote:And we may soon have a First Philanderer. What fun!MitchO wrote:Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
