To save you a click, Fox apologized and said they showed Busch to promote the race as they normally don’t air the first pitch. She accepted the apology and didn’t make a big deal about it.
The one on the stream now seems to be more interested in the skin than the meat. He grabs a salmon in his jaws, strips the skin off one side, chews it up, strips the skin off the other side, chews it up, and releases the skinned salmon, still flapping, then picks another one and repeats.
Sarah Bauer and Greer Mackebee met as contestants in the 2012 “Jeopardy! National College Championship.” Years later, the one-time competitors became a couple.

Good time to travel to Europe. US dollars are now at an equal exchange rate with Euros.
We leave Aug 5 for a trip originally booked in Dec 2019 and scheduled for Apr 2020. Then rescheduled for May 2021. Maybe Aug 2022 will finally allow it to happen. With the Euro drop, maybe we can afford a cup of coffee we couldn't two years ago.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

The Euro's never been that much higher than the dollar, but the news makes it sound like it's the most important thing ever. It's rarely been over 1.2:1 in the past 8 years or so.

Not to argue, but, counterpoint:
1) That 20% is a lot on the personal level when you're paid in euros versus dollars or vice-versa. Been there.
2) It's also a lot on the macro level. The euro is the second biggest currency. Small swings in the euro create or erase vastly more value than large swings in the leu or the ringgit or whatever.
3) As long as we're cherry-picking time ranges, it was almost 1.6:1 as recently as 2008, and the last time the euro was below the dollar was 20 years ago.

I'm pretty sure the rise in coffee prices has offset the dip in the Euro! Also, hope you didn't have your heart set on Dijon mustard. Anyway, Bon Voyage!
I don't think this belongs in the current events study guide thread, but I think it's worth noting for its own sake, and other people here will appreciate having learned it: Rachel Robinson, widow of Jackie Robinson, is 100 years old today.
