3: This native of Paris, Maine served six weeks as governor, then four of the six years of his Senate term before becoming Vice President.

6: Cherry Jones of Paris, Tennessee won a Tony Award for playing Sister Aloysius Bauvier in this John Patrick Shankey play that debuted on Broadway in March, 2005.

9: When John -- a native of Paris, Texas -- died of a heart attack in 1999, this son took over as pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston.

12: Paris, Arkansas native James Bridges directed this 1973 movie based on a John J. Osborn novel about a Harvard law student's relationship with a professor's daughter.

15: This producer discovered Paris, Illinois brothers Carl and Harold Switzer during their visit to his California studio and cast them in the Our Gang series.
