Time limit on posts (test)?

I just tried to make a post on a thread but was told I had timed out. So I retyped my post and copied it. I tried to post and was again timed out. So I tried to post by pasting my message and this time beat the clock.

Is there a time limit on posts here? Anybody else having this problem?

Had to do it again.

Dunno ... let's see.

I just let this sit for over 5 minutes and it posted just fine.

So, not sure why you are having a problem.

Maybe they just don't like me. Trying it again.

ETA: It worked the first time, but tried to edit and let it sit and got the timed out message again.

There is a setting for how long you have to make a post, but it is set to 0, meaning it is disabled. I did have problems accessing the site this morning where it wasn't connecting and I was getting a timeout message. That might have been the case for you.

I had the sam problem a few minutes ago. Typed a post, hit 'submit,' and was told it timed out.
