I try not to say too many mean things about people on the internet, so I'll try to say this without much judgement.

Terry Crews as a host and I as a viewer were not a good match.

Terry was great to work with, though. Warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in each contestant.

I would say Terry Crews more than adequately met the demands that show places on a quizmaster. He was energetic, fairly efficient (much more than Cedric), walked a balance between staying true to the Q&A and not humiliating contestants for their flubs, and had a knack for forming rapport in a way that (at least I felt) didn't distract from the pace of the game.

His biggest downfall is that he came off as way too eager to please everyone, starting with the bean-counting focus-group wonks who evidently insisted each show have a minimum count of eye pops, overexcited shouts, pectoral bounces, stupid contestant tricks, etc. In short, I felt his fundamentals were up to the not-too-great demands of that show, but the trappings at the fringes of the game occasionally got to be too much.
Poo-tee-weet? So it goes.

I think Terry is a great game show host but on the wrong game.

Give him a revival of Beat the Clock or Double Dare and it would fit his personality.

If, by 'etc.', you mean 'plugs for another show', then, yes. I agree.

I had never heard the term 'Brooklyn Nine Nine' before, but thanks to watching three or four episodes with Terry as host, I heard the phrase 6,941 times.

If I had 50 cents for every math question I got right, I'd have $6.30 by now.

I'm curious to see how familiar the faces are on "Second Chance Week." ;)

The experience of watching Millionaire during Terry Crews' time consisted of repeated and increasingly frustrated mutterings of "Stop yelling at me! Stop yelling at me!!!" Certainly, he may be a peach of a guy, but he was sheer torture to watch, and I am glad to see him go.

That's just his personality - he's loud and enthusiastic.

And if you haven't seen Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it's pretty darn funny.

I love Brooklyn 99! I've seen the Bachelor show a couple of times but I'm not sure how Chris Harrison will do as the new host. Subdued is a nice start...

Brandon Saunders led the charge for the standing ovation at the end of the show.
Who wants to see my three and raise me one by naming the woman between 2 & 3 if she is also someone who should be familiar?

It got dropped from my Indianapolis affiliate too, just this week. Fortunately I was in Connecticut back in July and just happened to attend the tapings that included Tony's run. It was very exciting!

Tony is doing GREAT!

(Couldn't resist)

No - really - he is being just the right level of gutsy and prudent. I'm so excited for him!

Hey y'all, I got the official producer's OK, so I can now share this:

I will be a contestant on Millionaire's Second Chance Week, which airs November 9-13. :D

Congrats! I don't get Millionaire here (at least not last time I checked) but i'll be rooting for you nonetheless!
