45/50 for me. I got lucky on a few 50/50 questions, though (stamen/pistil, Tigris/Euphrates)

41/50 for me, assuming that
I did go the wrong way on
Part of the reason for my relatively low score relative to the level of the test was all those college-student friendly rap and recent TV questions.
Also, a quibble with the wording of question 29: April 22 is not always the spring equinox.
Spoiler
"idol" is acceptable for "golden calf" on question 34.

stamen/pistil.

the golden calf was by its very nature an idol. The clue didn't say you needed the level of specificity to state its shape or material.

The spring equinox is never in April, but the Reddit transcription is missing a word. The original clue was:hbomb1947 wrote:Also, a quibble with the wording of question 29: April 22 is not always the spring equinox.
29. ANNUAL EVENTS
First observed in 1970, this annual event is held on April 22 or on the spring equinox

I'm still giving myself credit for "idol," since I didn't have the benefit of knowing the category name when I answered; and I'm giving myself the benefit of the doubt that knowing it had to be an "animal" would have led me to the "correct" response.dklee12 wrote: 34. BIBLICAL ANIMALS

I got a 34/50, which is probably only 1-2 questions below my average. But this test definitely felt harder than normal.

39/50 for me off Reddit (just as hard as most of the adult tests). Hey, they can only accept 15 people, so why not make up a super-hard test to bring the contestant pool down to, I don't know, 50?
Sometimes I wish I hadn't graduated college early just so I could still be eligible for this.

I stand corrected on the multiple translations of the Bible issue.
We all stand corrected by the category.
I agree with hbomb that the clue gets significantly easier when coupled with the category.

At least we both had passing scores even if college was years ago.

I got 40/50 off of the reddit questions. Of course, on a timed test under pressure...maybe I wouldn't have gotten 40. Anyways, I'm still not where I need to be with my Jeopardy skills.

I took the college test on Tuesday and scored ~39 or 40. Is there any point in trying to take it again tonight? Is that even allowed?

Thanks for calming my mind. I just find the whole system of "score high enough and hope they contact you ridiculous" so I guess I was trying to be extra cautious. Regardless of your score, as long as it is a pass by their standards, they will put you in the group that they select randomly from for auditions.
In other words, a 35 (assuming that's a pass) or a 45 gives you pretty much the same chances. And only a small percentage of passers are selected for auditions.

Re: 10/6/15 College Jeopardy Auditions
I got 34/50. I'm glad the test worked for me this time around and that they were gracious enough to offer a second test. I thought this one felt harder than the one on Tuesday.
One note: question 14, category Brit Lit. Shouldn't it by Irish Lit?
