I haven't been on Jeopardy (yet), but I was on the local high school quiz bowl TV show back in the day. We lost on a question about third degree burns. For everyone's sake, I think I will pass on this tradition!
Spoiler
You could always use a picture of Mr. Burns.

How do you do that? GIF?
To be honest with you, I don't remember any more.
Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.

I miss the tradition we used to have of boardies changing their avatar to a significant clue from their appearance(s), either a crucial Daily Double or the Final they lost on. Thanks for bringing the tradition back, Chris!
Spoiler
I don't recall the tradition, but I'll play along for a while.
They call them spoilers for a reason. Oh, how I wish I had not opened that one. I've been sick this week and have three episodes to watch...but I'll take that to mean Chris lost...on perhaps a clue about Robert Duvall?
Sorry about that. I didn't mean to spoil anyone on the show, I guess it was too soon, and I just realized that this thread isn't tagged as a spoiler. Oops.

Speaking only for myself: I'm not sure it's possible to sanitize every possible meta-spoiler. For instance (spoiler for Sports J!),
Spoiler
I inferred from the sudden batch of posts from Vinny V that his run had ended, but I don't think that means he should have waited another week to start posting.
It's a shame that SBurrus was spoiled, but at least one person got a bigger chuckle from your change of avatar than she would have if you had waited longer. And several people have interesting new avatars now. :)

Well, I shouldn't have opened the spoiler. I finally did get around to watching the Wednesday episode and when the clue was revealed I screamed "Robert Duvall!!" who I knew from "The Godfather" and "Network"...but I'm not sure I would have gotten it if I hadn't read the spoiler. It's my fault!!

Minor adjustment.

Rundle R Continental Div 2

I am honored to be considered a boardie now. I really enjoy my time here. Writing TDs is super fun. If enough people want to creep on my Facebook, I used to write a daily brief 10 question quiz w/score tracking. If enough people add me, I will consider re-starting it.

Just PM me if you want to add me.

My first day in LL is tomorrow, and that means that I'm only a few months away from my first day in Rundle E. Best of luck, everyone!

And I will be joining you, no doubt. Maybe a few forays into Rundle D but I expect to be an "E" rundler most of the time.

Probably also worth reminding the Crias (look it up!) that there's absolutely no discussion of live questions during the match day. Even the most innocuous of comment could lead a player to a correct (or incorrect) answer, or influence their defense. Nothing can't wait until the results are posted.

Thanks. And now back to compulsively clicking F5.
