KY won their first championship in 1948, when the Indians won the World Series.
Since then, the Wildcats have won titles in 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998.
Can't wait for the 2012 post season!

I'll bump this thread in memory of board members no longer with us instead of making a new one.

Anyone have any bracket action for the J! Board? I'm in on the one from the WWTBAM Bored.

And how about a little March Madness trivia:

In the last 40 years (including the 1975-76 season), 5 teams have made it to the Final Four without a loss on their records. Name those teams.
Spoiler
Indiana (1976), Rutgers (1976), Indiana State (1981), UNLV (1991), Kentucky (2015)

I think a 16-seed is going to win this year, but I can't gain the courage to pick one in my bracket. If Holy Cross or Southern look hot tomorrow night, I might take them over Oregon. No way they deserved that top seed.

Nailed down four of them... missed the one I wasn't sure of!

I haven't filled out a bracket in years, but my picks are in. I'm mostly going with the crowd, but I made a few...interesting choices. (For the record, I know very little about college basketball. :P)

Having trouble entering a bracket-keeps saying the password is incorrect? I enter my board name (or whatever handle) for username, then "kebertxela" for the password, correct?

As an Oregon alum, I agree a top seed is overrated, but no way are they losing to a play-in team!

I think you need to have an ESPN.com login. Pretty easy to set up. Then, you find the "league" and join it using the "kebertxela"

We are up to 16 entries! Now's the time to get in on the fun. If you don't already have an ESPN.com account, you'll need to create one, but that's free and takes just moments.

I'm in. I didn't have to put in a password though - I assume that was because I used the direct link to the group.

I'll be going to a couple of the games tomorrow. Oregon State (go Beavs!!!)/VCU and Oklahoma/Cal State Bakersfield.

Oregon State is making their first appearance in 25 years and less than a four hour drive away? Hard to pass that up.
