2016 Summer Hiatus Challenge - Round 1, Day 5

As usual, Days 5 and 6 are posted on Friday. Day 5 is being posted in this thread, and Day 6 will be up this afternoon.

The week closes for purposes of determining the Round 1 winner on Sunday at 11:59 PM PDT.

POE-TRY

2: Asked "what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!", this title bird replies "Nevermore."

4: Poe's poem of this form "To Science" has 14 lines in the Shakespearean rhyme scheme.

6: In a Poe poem, this "cheered me as a lovely beam"; Langston Hughes asked whether it "dr[ies] up / like a raisin in the sun".

8: The title character of this poem lived "many and many a year ago / In a kingdom by the sea."

10: A shade tells a "gallant knight" this golden place is "Over the mountains / Of the moon, / Down the Valley of the Shadow."

Each correct response begins with "D" and has the number of letters indicated in parentheses. Your response must meet both qualifications to count as correct.
