Was waffling between torus and toroid, wouldn't have gotten toric.

For the Thurs. clue, I thought of Lion King (revolution, "Circle Of Life")

Balalaika = instaget
Raisin in the Sun, know of the play, couldn't pull author's name.
Toric, no clue. I thought of "Tangent line", but that doesn't fit, so clammed.

Friday - Wordsworth; had I thought about 1596 or gotten to "spear," I think I would have had it
Got toric on the rebound; NHO the word and wouldn't have gotten but for the fact that it had to be made up solely of letters in "Microsoft"

I thought of Toric because I used to wear contacts but when the 1st guy said torus or whatever, I was lost.

Nope, has to be made of the letters in the word "Microsoft"

Of course the only one I missed, preventing me from going 5/5, was the one that so far only TPH and I missed. :(

I had "torus," but couldn't make that into something found in "Microsoft."
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Couldn't turn 'torus' into an adjective

I went with Evita on Thursday. I might have been able to change to the right answer in the time I had left, but I was watching with my dad, who immediately had it and said how easy it was. So then I told him what I had, he said "I don't think so," and I realized my error.

I would have been able to rebound on "toric" after the two negs. I had "torus" and "toroid," but couldn't make a category-fitting adjective out of either of those, and it took "torc" to put me in the right place.

At some point near the start of the year I charted out that I wanted to be averaging $20,000 Coryat by the end of Q1; I had been averaging around $16k - $17k or so at that point. After close misses the previous two weeks, delightfully I hit $20,480 this week. Perfect timing or what? I want to be somewhere around $30k by EOY so this at least keeps me on track.

After complaining about repeatedly getting 4/5 weeks, I successfully attain 2/5 this week.
