I have no idea if it's regional or not; I grew up in New Hampshire and live in Indiana; not sure where clt013 is from. I just know I had heard henpeck enough for it to somehow overtake hunt-and-peck in my brain.
I'm from Iowa - heard my mother and a typing teacher call it chicken (and hen) pecking, but the reliability of that first source is questionable. :)

I have to work on learning what people are going to go with. I thought pinniped was a good answer.

I was a little about my answer on this one since n and ñ are different letters in Spanish. I'm grateful for the merciful latitude of the smith!

I reversed the ruling on Q3 and accepted 'henpeck' for 'hunt and peck', so the standings have been updated for Q3, Q4 & Q5

6. SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUMS – Name any self-titled debut album of recorded music
Clarification: I'm looking for an album title with the same name as the artist or band, no variation

7. BONUS – For -3 points, name the year that album was released

Q6 / Q7 RESULTS
Spoiler
18 singletons! Well done :)

Bolded players got the bonus question right - name the year the album was released

Wrong answers – 10 points
Beyonce - Dangerously in Love was the album title :(

Unfortunately I believe I should be negged for the bonus. I answered 1995 for the bonus. While his wikipedia page lists the year as 1995, it's listed as 1996 in his discography. Various other pages also indicate either 1995 or 1996. I finally found this page where it's stated that the album was released exactly 20 years earlier, making January 9th, 1996 the correct release date.

The three albums I could come up with were, as I wrote them: Grinderman (2005?), Peter Gabriel (1977?), The Lumineers? (2011?)

My first thought for Grinderman's year was 2008, but I knew it was older than that. Then I went too far back.

Of course everyone knows Peter Gabriel's first four albums were all called Peter Gabriel, so I should avoid that.

Of Grinderman and The Lumineers, Grinderman was more likely to be a singleton, and I was 100% sure it was right.
Spoiler
There's also a song on it called Grinderman, so sometimes my iPod will say:

Grinderman
Grinderman
Grinderman
So I went with that.

The Lumineers came out in 2012, so I was going to miss the bonus either way, but Peter Gabriel's first album came out in 1977. And nobody said it.

I realized afterwards (from my Facebook feed the day after I entered, kind of how I came up with my actual answer a couple of days earlier) that Creedence Clearwater Revival was also a very famous correct answer that went unused. Any other really famous bands that went unused?
