My brain froze up on Friday. I had Charlie McCarthy, but then the only author whose name I came up with was Sean Casey/O'Casey. I couldn't move beyond that in time.

I just put McCarthy because of Edgar Bergen, would've never had a correct first name and took my chances they would only want the last name--it did the trick.

It was more like 4 months ago for me    but it was Switzerland first. I had spent most of the wagering-math time trying to think of landlocked countries. I was actually half expecting the clue to be about Mongolia, because I'd met a very old and dear friend when he asked me a question about Mongolia on the bus to quiz bowl when we were kids. It would have been the movie ending, haha.
