THE TOY BOX

2: Dilbert's boss thought this toy was a laptop and that he had to "hold it upside down and shake it to reboot."

4: If you're proficient with this toy, you can hop the fence, walk the dog, or rock the baby.

6: Stan Weston, who died in 2017, created this line of action figures, whose name comes from a 1945 film.

8: To master this toy, rotate the clear sphere so the ball inside passes all 100 obstacles without falling.

10: Launched in 1978, this Texas Instruments electronic had over 100 built-in words, as well as a synthesizer.

3: The "Lazy Bones" was the first of this type of device, now a standard TV set feature.

6: VHF and UHF are the two frequency bands in use for television in the U.S., with UHF standing for this.

9: AM and FM, which are used by radio stations, stand for these two methods of transmission (both required).

12: Sony used this brand name, associated with high picture quality, for its CRT television sets from 1968 to 2008.

15: This Russian-born inventor, along with Philo Farnsworth, is generally credited with inventing television.
