TD 359 - Remix (Final results)

Post by clt013 »

This TD (titled "Remix") is sort of like a "Greatest Hits" collection from my previous submissions. Each of the first ten questions is based on a prior TD and then there are three questions in the BONUS round.

Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may use one drop and take zero points for that question (NOTE: There is no bonus for not using your drop this time.)
3) You may elect to take the "sheep" answer for 1 question
4) Wrong responses are the higher of either +10 points or the "sheep" answer +3
5) All answers are due by 9:00 AM CST on Tuesday, November 14, 2017
6) Submit answers via this Google form or PM

Dang! I thought Sister Sister would not be that popular! And I didn't go with Sirhan Sirhan because I thought it would be more well-known among the people who do this kind of thing.

I figured Jar Jar Binks would be a common answer, too. I picked Sirhan Sirhan thinking that some people might know it but be afraid to misspell it. (I also may have overrated the knowledge of it, having watched the incident unfold live on TV. Yes, I may also be too old and too slow. :D )

Would you have accepted 1/2 Maccabees, given they exist in Catholic and Orthodox versions, and a specific version was not mentioned for this question?

Yes - though I was thinking of the 66 book "Protestant" version, the poor pinning (which I did not realize until well into scoring) here would have made 1/2 Maccabees acceptable.

Maybe next time I'll think before I sheep.

I had to go with nadia because it's the only one I was sure of. Looking back I should have dropped that question and just gone with my answer for the double double one of which I knew most of them of course.

Congratulations Wells. I think the bonus questions will only add to your lead. I don't see any way to catch you.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.
