Mary Poppins, ending a streak at 10 correct.
I'm not sure if I've received anything from PCH. I usually don't look at junk mail.
Also not sure if I've read a full Longstocking book. I might have for school.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Yes to junk mail
Charlotte

If you had asked me before Friday, I would've said that I have read or watched Pippi Longstocking in some form at some point in my life, but I'm also sure I'd have remembered that crazy assortment of middle names, so maybe not.

Madeline on Friday.

Can recall reading at least one Pippi Longstocking story as a kid. Never crossed my mind on Friday

I'm giving myself credit for "New Siberian City." I haven't been able to convince myself that it should be negged.

I have long been a disciple of Pippi. Those were her enormous shoe prints in the sand when I thought I walked alone.

Eloise on Friday...

Honestly I don't remember if I ever got a PCH mailing as an adult, but my parents actually bought magazines from them - for me! - when I was a kid...and I may have picked up a Pippi Longstocking book once, but she didn't stick with me like Mycroft Holmes...!

Monday: Followed the instructions in the clue. Never heard of the city
Tuesday: Who? Huh? Wha..? Not even a guess
Wednesday: Bought junk from them. Get at least one mailer a week.
Thursday: Guessed the Curies
Friday: Madeline. Heard of Pippi. Thus ends my knowledge of her. ... Wait. There's braided pig tails involved, too. Now my knowledge is exhausted.

Hebrew Toast: I've seen Fiddler on the Roof, so if I were a rich man, I'd have something with which to offer a toast!
Ballet: Don't even remember the clue. Didn't make an impression on me. No idea of the answer. [checks spoiler] She's got a ballet??!!!??
Trains: Train - check. Japanese name - check. Pavlov answer - check. But I didn't really need that. Given "Shinkansen" I'll easily translate to the common English name. Can't go the other way, though.

Annoyingly, I briefly pictured Pippi Longstocking on Friday, but I couldn't remember her name.

One of the easier weeks in memory, with the exception of Mycroft for non-Holmes fans, and the potentially unexpected wealth of right-sounding responses on Friday.

Not even a guess for Friday. Wasn't a fan of the genre when I was growing up and neither was my daughter. I've heard of the character though.

Followed directions on Monday.
I was on trail but chose Moriarty as possible Star Wars-ian plot twist.
Instaget PCH - surprised no Ed McMahon references here.
Half credit for Van Gogh - wife spoiled it at "madness"
Heard of Pippi Longstocking, NHO Amelia Bedilia and thought it was a joke response.
