Re: New old games in the J! Archive
Is there some hocus pocus I don't know about to make player introductions & clues appear from nowhere?
If an archivist had any Season One games in their collections not archived they would be in by now. If games from S1, though not yet in the Archive, are on YT or DM then post here. The way it currently stands is the request cannot be met because no one has those games available.
The J! staff should have them and they are not sharing. If the contestants from those games have them gathering dust on VHS at home that does not equal an online upload.
The archivists cannot get blood out of a stone as the saying goes.
Action can be taken when a game not in the Archive is brought to the attention of an archivist. It can be a missing game from any season uploaded on an available sharing site, a VHS tape, games dubbed onto DVDs and even a word document if it had all of the needed information.
The ping pong match of posts begun tonight is not going to get anything new in the Archive, unfortunately.
Next weekend is Presidents Day and I'll get an S18 game in for the best that I can do for now.

It has to be watched with the Trebek commentary on.
"I was completely hung over when we filmed this episode. Oh look, Jerry Frankel rang in first *again*. Yes, Jerry, we all know you're smart. At this point, I was wondering how long this one would last. Wizard of Odds only lasted a year, you know."

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
Years ago GSN showed S1. If someone has those games recorded they are not in the right hands to be in the Archive. No, there is not a DVD with the complete 1st season. It would take multiple discs for all of those games. Requests like your are a dime a dozen around multiple forums and it sets the table for the funny guys to do some playful teasing.

If I get two more requests, I'll relent and link to my secret archive of Seasons 1-10 in their entirety.

I have home video of Ken Jennings as a kid, no one asks for that.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
As promised Nanette Wargo #3 is in with her facing Anna Pasquale & John Compton: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=1182
All of the links should work.
CORRECTIONS $800 was a correction of a J! clue from this game: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=991
I was curious to see if anyone had caught the error and if there was an erratum. Nope, but interesting was to find that the same clue had a disclaimer added to it when it originally aired.
Nanette took names and numbers in the J! round and then slept through the DJ! round with just 3R before waking up to get the sole solve in the FJ! round.
THE NATIONAL PASTTIME $1200 made me laugh. That guy stayed out of trouble after that incident, right?

Wave your magic wand and make the process of inputting a game minutes instead of hours.
There's about 40 games to go for Season 18. When the Archive began the number was higher. Tiny steps.
