It took me the whole time to get "munificent"; had it not been a TS I might have a spot of yellow in this post.

Had I been more awake Monday, I probably would've negged with Ford.

Embarassed to miss Friday, but my head got wrapped around the Virginias and Carolinas and somehow Maryland never occurred to me.

Endeavor, basically chosen at random from the five space shuttles I could name. I forgot about Atlantis, which I probably would have guessed otherwise.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

My first shot at 5/5 but not due to a stupid miss as I would not have run into Maryland in an hour. Like the word "breakfast", and "history", I never considered it a literal noun. I'd have come closer to choosing "Idaho" and it's vulgar pun. I got stuck in Helena and couldn't recover any new subroutines.

Pavlov on Monday because of the hype about LBJ being sworn in on the plane.
My business also traces to the Manhattan Project as we make the ceramic crucibles used to melt Plutonium. Steady work, but not a big customer base ;).
Knew the Louvre story just from the audacity that Louis didn't think the place was fit for a king.
Should have got Prescott because it just belongs as a pair, but for some reason said Oregon.

I had Challenger Deep somewhere in the Mariana Trench of my mind, but it wasn't coming to the surface within thirty seconds. On further thought, I wonder if today's college student would be expected to name more than the two shuttles that blew up.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Oddly, it wasn't my weakness at space exploration that spoiled the perfect week in this case.

Dismissed Louvre as I thought it's fairly modern, went with Versailles instead.

Looks like 5/5 will never happen for me. When's Kids Week coming back?

Monday I accidentally clicked on the day's thread on JBoard ahead of time. I probably would have gotten it right but I'm not counting it.
Tuesday -
Wednesday - Endeavor (only one I could think of that sounded like it might be part of a trench)
Thursday - Versailles
Friday -
