Hammer's "Did you get this?" poll, take 2

There was a request for one of these, so I thought I'd try it again. I culled 10 random clues from recent games, either top boxes that I found undervalued, or clues that I otherwise found interesting, to gauge how many of you got them right.

Empires $400, 5/7: "At the 1389 battle of Kosovo, this empire's Sultan routed the Serbs."
Literary Mashups $400, 5/7: "A Doll's Gabler"
Speak Easy $200, 5/8: "This brand of at-home hair color from Clairol has been around for over 50 years."
Brand Loyalty $400, 5/8: "In the air, Trueblue"
Disney Facts $200, 5/9: "Hippo ballerinas perform a hypnotic 'Dance of the Hours' in this 1940 film."
Hi Mom! $2,000, 5/9: "Carlene Carter's 10th studio album includes 'Tall Lover Man' by this woman, Carlene's mom."
Hobbies & Pastimes $200, 5/10: "A 3-ball cascade is the most basic pattern used in this hobby, but one day you might attempt a flying disco drop."
TV Who Played 'Em $400, 5/10: "Frances on 'Divorce' and Carrie Bradshaw on 'Sex and the City'."
My Deer $1,000, 5/11: "Felix Salten created her as Bambi's love interest."
Your 1990s Hit Parade $1,600, 5/11: "Including 'The River' and 'Unanswered Prayers', he had country hits in every year of the '90s."

I missed clicking the first box, so if possible please enable the revote option. Two of my misses were in the area of brands, not one of my strengths. The other was too slow for Carter as I only count it if I have it before Alex finishes reading the clue and I don't play rebounds.

Thank you. I've heard of the Clairol and Trueblue responses, so nothing unfamiliar in the poll and I'll join the crowd with seeming to be the tough ones of the bunch.

Didn't realize Faline was so obscure. Yes, I am a Disney nerd.

I like these polls; it's quite helpful to me to judge how I fare against others on some of these non-DD clues. I hope this becomes a regular feature.

I would have gotten Carter on a DD but am not counting it here, as I clammed. 4/10 right (Ibsen, True Blue, actress, flying balls).

Hedda House would have been a DD get, but the other three were full on clams.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

Couldn't pull 'Hedda' in time, haven't thought about hair products (and haven't seen any ads for them) in ages so I'd long forgotten the brand, never heard of the juggling terms (though obvious in hindsight), and while I'm familiar with the overall story and a few of the characters...I'm honestly not sure if I've ever watched Bambi

The Garth Brooks one is kind of iffy. I'm not sure I would've rung in. But that's the answer I yelled from the couch, so I'm taking credit for it. This is balanced by the JetBlue clue which got responded to before I could put my thoughts together. Given another half second, I would've given the correct response there, but I'm not taking credit.

One for ten. Juggling was the only get, just from the TOM's. Just call me twelvefoothammer.

Ottoman - too far off my radar
A Doll's House + Hedda Gabler - I still don't know what this is
Nice 'n Easy - name rings a bell
JetBlue - would have wagged it on a DD
Fantasia - never ever could have pulled the name
June Carter Cash - don't know the substance of the clue
Juggling - HOORAY
Sarah Jessica Parker - familiar name, no idea who is or shows
Faline - still have no idea - I thought the answer on the show was Who is Amy and I thought, whoa, is Bambi a dude?
Garth Brooks - name recognition only.
Disclaimer - repeated exposure to author's musings may cause befuddlement.

I missed a couple, but Faline was the only one that made me say "huh?"

Clams on/never heard of Nice 'n Easy and Faline.
Got the rest.

Agreed. Wouldn't mind this every week in addition to the FJ poll.

Also, yes, I did vote myself. Obviously I only got the two country music clues.

35% and 49% on top-box clues are pretty shockingly low, especially given that the bottom-box Carlene Carter clue had nearly twice the gets as Nice 'n Easy.
