I get that nobody knows the Addams family of Grafton, Ohio with children Puggsleu and Tuesday that like to tie kitten whiskers together. I even get that the loser Kansas City Royals can't get their crown in a logo collection. But I missed a math puzzle!! I don't remember my answer to deconstruct my method.
Congrats to all who finished in the top 47, and thanks SensiCay for the TD.
You put 147, which is short by 21. Perhaps you thought that each number appears on 7 dominoes without considering that one of them has the number twice? 7 x (0+1+2+3+4+5+6) = 147, I suppose.

On Q10, we asked a question about Cinco de Mayo, which is not Mexican Independence Day. For a bonus, we asked what day is actually celebrated as Mexican Independence Day?

The following people correctly identified September 16th as Mexican Independence Day:

Me, too.

I screwed it up by going the other way. I laid out a table with 0-6 in the columns and rows, then wrote down the number of pips in each box. I failed to take into account that almost half the table is duplicated and needs to be eliminated.

Dang, a typo cost me 8 points and 16 places on the list. I'll think I'll blame the typo on my drop from podium last TD to bottom dweller on this one.

It's more palatable than blaming my three actual wrong answers and four sheeps.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Congratulations to Magna. And what a nice bunch of people to finish tied for second with.

Embarrassing Belmont miss for me. Read that as third leg, not third Saturday.

Thanks for hosting as always SenseiCAY, and congrats to the podium finishers!

(If memory serves) I started by writing all the dominoes out:
6-6, 6-5, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1, 6-0, 5-5, 5-4, etc.
After I did that, I counted up all the sixes and combinations that add up to six, crossing those off as I went, and multiplied the total by 6.

I was going to brute force the domino question, write them all down and count them up, but once I realized that each number appears 8 times, it was simple multiplication.

Great TD! Congrats to Magna and the podium.

I had a great way to count the number of pips on the dominoes. Unfortunately, I did not know how many dominoes were in a set!

Thanks for an interesting TD, SenseiCay!
