Hera.
Airing not affected.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Hera, just to have something although I was pretty sure it was wrong.

No effect from NBA in the NY market.

Mon - Tennessee Williams
Thu - Hera

Thursday's airing pushed to Friday. Haven't actually seen Friday yet, assuming it's still 50m away at time of posting, luckily the FJ was a quick get from the text here so I'm counting it.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

Third consecutive goose egg.

I actually recognize the name "Coleman Young" and "African American mayor" should've been enough to lead me to Detroit, but it just wasn't there.

I would have assumed Nixon had also died in California, but with Obama eliminated for being non-mainland and non-dead, WECIB?

Bad week. Though of Australia and New Zealand. Went with Australia. Thought of Nixon and Hoover. Went with Hoover. Forgot about Europa and went with Hera, knowing she was probably wrong.

At least I knew Neil Gaiman. "American Gods" came to the small screen last year with 8 episodes on the Starz network. This may have raised its visibility a bit. I haven't seen the show, but I read the book several years back. Most of it was ok, but the end came off as by-the-numbers Stephen King-esque. I'd be interested in seeing the series if they can figure out a way to make it available to viewers like me. (Hint: $2.99 per episode is a joke, Amazon.)

Georgetown (Guyana) is one of my go-to answers when world capitals come up on Pointless.

Thursday: The "fittingly" was a pretty disrupting TOM imho. I tried to figure out what happened in 2015 that would be commemorated in a design change on a 20 E note. And I could see why other boardies fixated on the 20, instead of the 2015. I couldn't think of any new members to the EU, but the timing seems about right for the Greek financial crisis, so maybe they made notes specifically to bail out Greece that would be toilet paper if they didn't make it? I picked Athena, because I have no idea who boned who in Greek mythology. It seems like they all did each other like a bunch of drunken fratboys.

Friday: Nixon immediately, but worried because he was used already this season in the airplane call sign clue a while back.

Thought the date was key for the Euro clue when it was actually a distractor. Went with Hera just to put something down.

Knew Detroit. Blanked on the other two "extra" clues, but Georgetown was certainly a forehead slap.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

I thought Hera, but as soon as that was ruled wrong, I thought of Europa.

Pre-guessed Aaron Copland for American Composers before the clue was revealed, thought maybe Gershwin, and then WAG'ed Joplin at the last second after vaguely associating piano rolls with ragtime.

Amusing that the only miss which spoiled my perfect week was on a FJ that polled at 81%, higher than any of the others and any of the three questions. In related news, I'm very poor at classical music.
