Should I just give up at this point? This is the fourth week in a row that I've checked the box of shame and nothing else.

Tuesday - No guess
Thursday - Phrenology
Friday - Pooh Corner

I've enjoyed listening to Portugal. The Man for a few years now, and it's been kind of weird to see them blow up. My eleven year old stepdaughter was singing "Feel It Still" having heard it on Kidz Bop. I don't personally agree with their views on religion (it's a very common theme in their lyrics) but they're masterful songwriters.

Couldn't even muster a guess Monday or Tuesday. Meteorology Thursday, with a headslap on recognizing avi-.

Never heard of Portugal. The Man.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Recognized the band
1/2 M/T

If I had stuck with mustaches on Tuesday, instead of getting hung up on how ridiculous 'fake mustaches to hide signs of aging' sounded, I might've gotten there in time. Surprised David Copperfield was a TS. Got sick of hearing Feel It Still months ago.

Monday it was "death and taxes" or "I have no idea" so I went with the former. Thursday I picked up on "Avibus" late enough that I'm not sure I would have had time to write down the whole response, but maybe they'd give me "ornith" with "-ology" in the clue"? Sure, why not.

NHO "Portugal. The Man."

The only answer I could come up with for Tuesday was the detective from murder on the Orient Express. But I couldn't pull his name.

Missed out on one because I always thought it was spelled (and pronounced) orthinology.

Best I could come up with Friday was Pooh's Wood...
I've still barely heard of Portugal. The Man. So fun that rock groups are exploring punctuation these days...More colons!

I checked the last box, but it was less not knowing the name and more not being able to recall it.

Tuesday I just named the only mustachioed character I could think of who might have "died" around that time, but I had no confidence because I thought it would be someone with a connection to New York.

Total blanks on Monday and Tuesday. I misremembered Thursday's FJ category as medicine instead of science, and didn't let myself get disabused of this error until after the music was over, but "ornithology" was the first thing I thought of, and I didn't feel strongly about ophthalmology, the only other thing I could come up with, so I'm counting a get. A failed recollection of the category couldn't happen to me on the show (bookmark this statement in case I ever get back on and prove myself wrong).
