Spoiler
What distinction do these movie people share?

Extremely dismaying to see that only 3 of you recognized all of these actors from the Alien franchise
:|

HBO has the Alien films on right now, and I rewatched the first 4. Alien 3 is ridiculous, but Alien Resurrection is pretty cool - Sigourney (also one of my favorites) gets to play Ripley in a totally different way.

And!! there's an amazing scene in The Handmaid's Tale where Janine (who can't catch a break!) and June talk about their favorite Alien movies - a rare moment of levity in a brutally devastating series. I highly recommend it!

Bonus (-1): AFRET CMS, MarkBarrett, RJRouge

Some hilarious guesses here, all earning a 1 point penalty except spell4yr who gave the best wrong answer

Beauty and the Beast (Gamawire)
Best Actor/Actress Winners that have aged? (threearruda)
Knighted (Woof)
Members of the “That Guy” Hall of Fame (9021amyers)
no academy awards (twelvefootboy)
Part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MattKnowles)
PASS although none of them seem very happy with their cameramen/women (spell4yr)
They've all appeared on HBO shows... (guessonguessonguess)

This lingering memory of this clip could have thrown someone off on Q6 due to the eternal Bill Paxton/Bill Pullman quandary:

If there weren't a penalty for a wrong answer, based on the ones I recognized I would've guessed that their names contained the name of a town or city. E.g., Tom Skerritt.

It's at this point that I realize that, in a group as talented as this, sometimes it's worth gambling on selecting a MORE obvious answer. This is gamesmanship.

If you’re counting doubles players for the tennis question, should Venus Williams be a correct answer?

Blimey, you’re right! I had every intention of limiting the question to singles, but I missed it. I’ll rerun the scores tomorrow morning. I’ll also check all the other wrong answers. Thx

Lindsay Davenport has also won all 4 majors when you add in doubles (she hasn't won all 4 in a single event)

I’m accepting a career grand slam in singles OR doubles, not a combination of wins

Man, if I knew you were going with doubles, I would have busted out my guaranteed single of Gator Great Lisa Raymond. She has the career slam in doubles and 3 of the 4 in mixed doubles (and a Bronze in the Olympics for good measure)..

I might as well have stuck with my original submission that had 4-5 sheep selected before you reminded me of the one sheep limit. At least maybe there will be a book named "sheep" or a picture of an actual sheep as one of the answers:).

Q5: I can name Madame Bovary and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy from the revealed list of authors in Q5. Eight names I never heard of, and I have heard of Huxley and Levin but couldn't name their magnum opus. Yes, I read. But not fiction. How about a question on the Reimann Hypothesis?

Q6: I think John Hurt was in Fahrenheit 451 and Ron Perlman was in Hellboy. the pic of Perlman kind of looks familiar. I have no idea about the CV of the rest of the anonymous C-list celebrities in Q6. No need to flame me, I know they never heard of me either

This is definitely a spiteful, evil, malicious TD to torment the left brained people out here. If this was a fight, the referee would stop it and let me and SensiCay leave with our dignity. May you get the call and face a board full of sports questions
Disclaimer - repeated exposure to author's musings may cause befuddlement.

Oof -- I saw the photo array, and thought it was a bit unfair. Normally I know a few to several of the answers and have limited choices, but in this one I could name every actor, the role he or she played in the franchise, and describe memorable scenes for each. It was really hard to select one.

Now you've made me sad that I knew them.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.
