I wonder if the question I asked a few days ago kept other people from putting down the Hawks, or if no one was going to, anyway.

It kept me from writing in the Syracuse Nationals, who became the Philadelphia 76ers. I would have sheeped either way.

i stay away from the obvious in sports because i give the people on this board too little credit and think they don't know much in regards to sports and will have to go with answers like patriots and yankees...though when it comes to golf i guess i am not completely wrong there...though my response was only 1 under the sheep

I mean, if we were including Power 5, I'd have gone with Boston College, as to my recollection it's not actually "in" the city of Boston ...

Oh, my. Tied for first after the first reveal, second from bottom following the most recent. That's what happens with an incorrect plus four sheeps out of six questions. Plummeting -- and I don't foresee a parachute in the near future.

I should return Wile E. Coyote's anvil to the Acme Company.

Grrr I had Munich in the box but changed it last minute figuring people would look at 1972, come up with Munich and not do any further thinking.

Glad my strategy of picking all of my local teams continues to work! The Bruins' Cup win in '11 will forever be a favorite memory. Around the same time as the playoffs, my dad got us tickets to a Sox game for my birthday. As it turned out, the B's championship parade was scheduled for the same day. We went into the city early for the parade, I collected a bag of confetti and then went to Fenway later that day. Good times...

i enjoyed the 2011 stanley cup finals as well...but not because boston won, but because of the riots that ensued after they beat the canucks
