TD 402 - The TD Strikes Back FINAL (Q9 - Q10)

Post by oduguy22 »

Hello All, I'm glad to be back working on anotherTD, it has been quite a while. Just want to let you guys know that I will post the questions beginning late this evening or tomorrow morning. Just so you know in case you might try to decipher any themes based on the name of the TD, it won't have much to do with Star Wars. Thank you!

TD 402: The TD Strikes Back!

Hello All! I’m back with another TD and it has been quite a while (Around Two Years In Fact) since my first one, so I really want to return with a challenging quiz. There is no theme in this quiz, I just want to make sure that I can bring in a variety of subjects with varying difficulty. Enjoy!!

  • The purpose of this game is to provide the correct answer that you think will be the least popular. The lower your total score, the better.
  • You can only use your own knowledge. Absolutely NO googling, or asking a friend or anyone else.
  • The score for a correct answer is the number of players who give that answer.
  • The score for an incorrect answer is the SHEEP score, which is the most popular correct answer for that question plus 5 points.
  • You can DROP one question for a total of 0 points.
  • There is no option for a SHEEP answer in this TD.
  • If there is a tie for first place, the earliest submission wins.
  • The deadline for entering this game is 9 pm (EDT) on Monday, November 12. Please reply by PM, and DO NOT post your answers in the thread.

Since there is no award called "Grammy of the Year," and your question references an album, could you have meant the Grammy for Album of the Year?
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

Since I'm not supposed to look at worldatlas.com, could you explain whether they're using the populations of urban areas or metropolitan statistical areas?

For clarification on the sports team question, are we going by the location in the team name or where teams actually play?

Good question, i am going by just team name, so for example even though redskins play in MD and they represent VA, DC, and MD, in this context they represent just DC.

For the following rule:

"The score for an incorrect answer is the SHEEP score, which is the most popular correct answer for that question plus 5 points."

Is there supposed to be a comma after "that question", or are five points added for anyone whose answer is the sheep?

I think that you can safely assume the former.

I think so too, but it was still a level of ambiguity I wanted to call out.
