The format has not been made known? I thought it was just me not paying attention. I have no idea how this thing is going to work. It mostly just strikes me as TPTB tinkering with what needn't be tinkered with.

AFAIK, all we have is the initial description:
Teams will return to Los Angeles in January 2019 to compete against each other head-to-head. Each three-person team will designate one player to play the Jeopardy! round, one to play Double Jeopardy! and one to play Final Jeopardy! Teams will be eliminated based on point totals, with the top three teams competing for a $1 million prize in a two-day final.
How will six teams combine to play eight preliminary games before the two-day final? Will there be any eliminations after the first week, or at any point before the finals? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean ffs the scoring for this fantasy league nonsense is based on correct answers during the J!/DJ rounds or 10pts for FJ, but we don't even know the matchups or which players are playing which rounds!!! Plus I'm guessing they can switch roles from game-to-game; if they can't, this woud be useful to know as well.

OK, I'm a bit late with updates (I know, you've all been waiting with bated breath). Here's a roster of the people who submitted lineups:
Spoiler
Woof (Brad, Roger, Alex)
boson (Ken, Roger, Alex)
pinkfreud (Brad, Roger, Alex)
AFRET CMS (Julia, Ben, Larissa)
gamawire (Brad, Matt, Roger)
SweepingDeveloper (Colby, Alex, David)
arjavrawal (Brad, David, Larissa)
NoWhammies10 (Ben, Brad, Alex)
jev15 (Ken, Ben, Matt)
and here are the scores after the first two matches:
Player Team Coryat
boson 53000
jev15 51200
NoWhammies10 32200
pinkfreud 30600
Woof 30600
arjavrawal 27800
SweepingDeveloper 27600
gamawire 27200
AFRET CMS 26400

Using the scoring system of Jeopardy (correct answers), the standings are:

Player Team Score
jev15 76
boson 63
NoWhammies10 62
arjavrawal 59
SweepingDeveloper 58
pinkfreud 53
gamawire 49
Woof 49
AFRET CMS 47

The most chosen contestants were (in order): Alex (5), Brad (5), Roger (4), Ben (3), David (2), Ken (2), Larissa (2), Matt (2), Colby (1) and Julia (1)

The four highest Coryats were (in order): Ken, Alex, Larissa and Matt and after that a big drop

In terms of correct answers it was: Ken; Alex, Larissa and Matt (tie); Ben; David; Brad and Colby, then a big drop to Roger and Julia.

I have Ken, Matt, and Roger, although I should have gone with Monica for my last choice.

The Final Standings

Now that the smoke has cleared (and I have a few free minutes), I've compiled the final standings of those boardies who submitted their Fantasy League lineups. In terms of combined Coryat, the top 5 players were Ken (48800), Alex (38600), Matt (32000), Larissa (30600) and Brad (27800). In terms of Jeopardy scoring, the top 5 performers were Ken (54), Alex (49), Larissa (47), Brad (43) and Colby (38).

And here are our standings:

Player Team Coryat
boson 104200
Quizgeek75 97600
PowerofHoodoo 97000
jev15 86400
pinkfreud 83200
Woof 83200
gamawire 76600
NoWhammies10 72000
arjavrawal 69400
SweepingDeveloper 68800
AFRET CMS 39000

Player Team Score
PowerofHoodoo 139
boson 129
NoWhammies10 122
arjavrawal 118
jev15 118
pinkfreud 118
Woof 118
SweepingDeveloper 115
Quizgeek75 114
gamawire 103
AFRET CMS 79

Congrats to boson on his win, and to PowerofHoodoo for her win in the alternate universe. Sadly, none of us chose the optimal trio of Ken, Alex and Larissa (or Ken, Alex and Matt if going for Coryat) though our two winners got closest with 2 of 3. I will also note that Jeopardy's scoring system would seem more suited for this format since it gives credit for a correct FJ unlike Coryat.
