I broke a personal record this week with 18 consecutive FJs, 23 of 24 through Tuesday, with that odd clue on religious tradition breaking it up...This is not because I've gotten sharper this year... ;)
Obviously the streak ended this week as well...I guess you could say with my nightmare category...two geography FJs in a row... ... I acknowledge these weren't so tough for the category, either...Fri should have been obvious too, but I never gave a thought to anyone outside the US...Grisham or King was my only struggle, and I stuck with the latter.
I would remember Perkins on another day...I've read little Faulkner - Snopes, like Yoknapatawpha, is just something to know...

I didn't actually get to see the 12/25 game because the affiliate in my market was showing something else (same for up to the first commercial break of 12/26. Going to have to go to the links posted on Reddit soon, but I digress), but I did correctly guess which case was being referenced before checking the spoiler box.

Is there an emoji for "half-right?" As in "Chile but not Peru?" If so I was 4.5-for-5 this week.

Yeah, yeah, I know. The good folks who keep the official scores in J! games probably would not have counted me half-right. So sue me.

The Dailymotion posts are the Reddit links to which I was referring. Apologies if that wasn't quite clear.

Instagets M-Tu-Th-F.

Based on where Carthage was located in relationship to the Italian peninsula, Sicily made the most sense as a field of battle over the more remote Malta and Sardinia.
I would prefer not to.
