The word Bond was the answer to a clue twice today. I wonder how often there is an answer that is used twice in the same episode in two different categories.

The word Bond was the answer to a clue twice today. I wonder how often there is an answer that is used twice in the same episode in two different categories.

Here are some instances I found where the same correct response (or a variation thereof) was used twice in one episode in different categories:

• November 21, 2016 had "Maine" and "the Maine"
• April 20, 2015 had "Washington" twice (once for the state and once for George)
• March 20, 2015 had "Flo Rida" and "Florida"
• June 6, 2014 had "eyes" and "the Eye" (as in the London attraction)
• January 7, 2014 had "bacon" and "Bacon" (the last name of Roger and Francis)...there was also another clue that mentioned Kevin Bacon!
• May 6, 2013 had "the Giants" (New York) and "a giant" (type of planet)
• June 28, 2012 had "Help!" and "The Help"
• July 16, 2008 had "Hawaii" twice...the second occurrence came just four clues after the first!
• June 16, 2008 had "Philadelphia" twice
• December 5, 2007 had "Hoover" twice (the vacuum brand and then the president)
• January 13, 2006 had "Buffalo" and "buffalo"...bizarrely, the following game had another clue about the city!
• November 4, 2004 had "a dam" and "Adam"
• April 28, 2003 had "Chicago" and "Chicago" (the movie)

That was a huge double-up for John on DD2 to go up to 21600.

So confident that FJ was Spring Awakening that I didn’t consider any alternatives.

John is a very personable contestant - no offense to his competiton - and I hope he’s the first 5 game winner in a while.

I went with Spring Awakening as well. I haven't seen it, but it has a season in the title and premiered around that time.

I've seen both Jersey Boys and Spring Awakening but the latter was the one that popped into my head and stayed there...

I thought about this FJ for a while- I guessed Jersey Boys only because it was the first musical involving 4 male leads that came to mind; it was that as opposed to seeing 4 seasons and then thinking of the group.

Same here. It wasn't till after the music ended that I thought about the band's name being "The Four Seasons." Derp!
