I did not deserve an 8-smiley week as I should know Khayyam by now and blurting Rodin was easy to do when Pavlov-ing off the work without taking in the category/clue in full.

I have no experience with either Jersey Boys or The Handmaid's Tale.

My streak is exactly 10 in a row.

Came nowhere near remembering Jersey Boys, though I saw it years ago (and as jukebox musicals go, it's OK). I never actually wrote Spring Awakening down, it seemed unlikely. Still don't think my Border Patrol guess on Fri was so bad... :(
Remembered only the Rodin sculpture for The Kiss...

I might have gotten Monday's if it had said "4 title characters" instead of "4 male leads."

Thursday I figured that Thatcher left office in the early '90s, so her replacement would have had to be in his 30s to fit the clue, which seemed unlikely. So I went to the next guy and left it at that.

2/5 (Calvin/Hobbes and Chuck Norris ;) )

Guessed Gordon Brown on Thurs.

Have not seen "Jersey Boys". I've seen them guest perform on America's Got Talent though if that counts. And I have a couple Frankie Valli songs in my playlist.

Played Monday off the Clue of the Day, and was flummoxed for about half an hour until the answer hit me, despite having seen the show about 10 years ago. I didn’t realize the acts were named for seasons or remember there were four narrators.

Read The Handmaids Tale when it came out and saw the movie, have not seen the TV series

No response Wednesday; Cameron.

Caught Jersey Boys on tour a few months ago.
Have neither seen nor read The Handmaid's Tale.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Klimt was an interesting one. I couldn't name him when I had to, but I was still able to say "No" before Alex did for the contestants' wrong answers.

Meant to say Blair, said Brown thinking of the Clinton era Labour guy.

Know of the ruby yacht of Omar Khayyam, but connecting the line of poetry with them is another thing. (Hence the posting here to cement the memory. Sorry Pam, not longhand ).

I strongly dislike Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons; to me, they sound like their pants are way too tight. Smokey Robinson is about the only falsetto I can take. Guessed “Border Patrol” for Friday. Instagets the rest of the week. Was shocked that Klimt was a TS; The Kiss has enjoyed a large run of popularity over the last 30 years.

"Spring Awakenings" instead of "Jersey Boys," no idea for "Handmaid's Tale," though we've seen Jersey Boys both on stage and on film.

Surprised my wife by getting Klimt, though. She was surprised even though we watched Helen Mirren in "Woman in Gold" about a year ago.

I had a streak of 15 broken when I said David Cameron for Thursday.

Never seen Jersey Boys or The Handmaid's Tale.
