Thanks, clt, for feeding some red meat to the hoop junkies.

Re: TD 416 - HHH
Yeah, that was quite a burn you took for Pac-10. I would have said the same thing. Hell, I could have answered Big 8 with my breadth of knowledge. I took a lucky stab at ACC and used one of my 50 states in a WAG.gamawire wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 9:59 pmtwelvefootboy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 10:38 am

This was fun in spite of the topic - clt13 always brings it and gives the all-sheep metric to aspire to.

I didn't pick New Hampshire specifically due to the earlier discussion of the futility of the UNH MBB team. Thought it might sheep.

Re: TD 416 - HHH (Q1-Q5 revealed)
I’m protesting my wrong answer on Q5. I picked New Mexico specifically because I remembered an announcer mention during the Auburn-NMSU game last week that the Aggies hadn’t advanced past the second round since they reached the Final Four in 1970. In fact, they did make the Sweet 16 in 1992, but their wins from that season were later vacated by the NCAA after an academic scandal. According to the official record, that tournament appearance never happened.

Re: TD 416 - HHH (Q1-Q5 revealed)
Figures I'm near the bottom in a wheelhouse TD.
A co-sheep for Lumberjacks was well worth it though - not a fan of the school by any means but Thomas Walkup might be my favorite small school player of the past decade. Back when my brackets were good every year, I remember picking Walkup and SFA to beat Notre Dame in the opening round, and I might have picked them to win in the Round of 32 as well. Still a little bitter about the end of that Notre Dame game...

B. I attended games in both the men's (1st round) and women's (2nd round) tournaments this year. Name either of the cities I visited to watch those contests.
There was a little hint to be found in my listed "Location" (although a trio picked the wrong host city in my home state) and a bigger one back in the TD 415 thread where I mentioned a men's game that I witnessed in person. Still, only 6 of 22 attempts hit one of the two sites.

Re: TD 416 - HHH (Final results)
I would love to know my record in clt013-hosted TDs: they so often include clues one would only get from living in the exact part of the country I was raised, it almost feels like an unfair advantage.
Great game, as always!
