No Howard Johnson experience for me other than watching the player for the Mets.
Jerry Maren was enough for me on Monday.
Atom split was as close as I got on Tuesday.

Read and/or seen Fahrenheit 451 was 47% in 2016, so I did not bother polling it again just because of the 2018 version.

Roses would've been a DD get

If '1939' was omitted from Monday and the rest of the clue remained, I would've gotten it. "Jerry Maren" alone would not have been enough, though.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

No guess (was trying to thing of a real-world group, and probably wouldn't have guessed Munchkins spotted Wizard of Oz); Madonna (low confidence)

If I've eaten at a Howard Johnson's, I have no memory of it.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

I believe there's only one Howard Johnson's left, and it's not in Rock Ridge. Here's an article about the next-to-last one to close:

Howard Johnson's had the world's slowest service. You could never be in a rush eating there.

I thought of Madonna first but didn't stop thinking and made it to Jane Fonda. Everything else was an instaget.

No guess Tuesday.

Needed 1939 to get the munchkin answer.

Ate at HoJo’s many times as a kid.

I knew The Subject Was Roses from my theatre days. Impressed that James got it. Then again, it's a Pulitzer winner and I'm sure he has his lists memorized

The Jane Fonda clue was so blindingly obvious in retrospect, but I stared dumbly for 28 seconds before scribbling Madonna. I'm really not great at Final Jeopardy. I think I need to work on this very specifically and rigorously as I'm expecting to make the show in Season 36! ;)

We used to go to Howard Johnson's for the ice cream. I always got peppermint stick.

Possibly my first ever box of Glory. I will be relegated soon.

Jerry Maren's name did not help.
It's a Quantum Jump in physics (or transition). Someone else bastardized it to "Leap".
Dead Russians in 1918? Hope it's the only name I can pull :).
Jane deserves credit for a new outlet for VHS sales and popularizing new tech. The porn industry couldn't hold it up forever.
Why does the term "motion picture" still exist?

I never heard of any of those events in the extra clues, might as well have been Lorem Ipsum text for the clues (and responses).

I checked the box for the choke and puke, but I'm not certain. I was too broke to eat out when we had one in town.

I’m an engineer and amateur physicist (obviously, engineers take a fair amount of physics, but I’ve been working my way through the Susskind The Theoretical Minimum series to pick up some stuff I missed in college), and I invariably miss questions like “quantum leap”, a term which, despite the clue, is not used in quantum physics at all! It’s a lousy question

But I’m glad that I purged all memories of the Jane Fonda workout videos from my memory, even if it cost me a FJ 8-)

I sat at the counter once at the Howard Johnson's in Times Square (perhaps nursing coffee before a Broadway matinee, I don't recall) and many times as a child ate at the ones that dotted the interstates...And between those occasions, I worked at one in my town one summer, making baked potatoes as far as I can remember...All have been gone for decades.

Goose egg again.

I have eaten at a Howard Johnson's (Bay City, MI, which closed abruptly in spring 2005).

Did not guess that Monday was hinting at a specific movie.
