The producer did not come out during my game, and I was only in the studio for my game. I did sit in the audience for a taping this season, and no producer interventions, but no stalling either. The longest I remember a question taking was right about three minutes, but that was three minutes of usable discussion, not hemming and hawing.

She made me laugh when she referenced Breaking Bad for the Walt Whitman question as I was thinking the same thing. It was fun to listen to her work through the math for laps around the bases on the diamond to approximate a mile.
Also, Derek was a contestant on The Chase back in 2013 in either the second or third episode. He was my age at the time. He mentioned that he was the valedictorian at his high school. I recently re-watched all the US Chase episodes, so I recognized him immediately.
Yep, that was me!

It was nice to have finally got to play - I had already spent two full days in the green room before I got to play on my third trip around. I was pretty tired (my tape date was right after TCONA), and I’d like to think that I would’ve handled that final question a bit better if I hadn’t been so exhausted from barely sleeping for a week. Nevertheless, I got to fulfill a dream and got paid to do it.

Technically, mine is Saturday since it airs at 1:00 AM in the Washington market. But yeah, Cinco de Mayo was right out.

I'm in the same week. May 1 and possibly May 2.

Molecular Bacon was my +1

Not anymore. It moved to 2pm around January, I believe.

What makes you say that? According to their schedule, General Hospital is on then, and WWTBAM is still on at 1:00 and 1:30 AM.

Unfortunately, Millionaire was pre-empted today. (Of course, that isn't the most unfortunate thing about it. )

Does anyone know how the rest of Barbara's run went? She was doing rather well on Friday's episode.

Ouch, Barbara. I have to admit, I probably would have bitten on that one as well, but I might have burned another lifeline in the process.

The funny thing is:

On Tuesday, I got Clueless correct because it was the only one of the four movies in the question that I have seen and I was pretty certain that I didn't remember Cher looking towards the camera.

Today, I got the Prince question correct because I have listened to Little Red Corvette, 1999, and When Doves Cry many times, but haven't listened to Let's Go Crazy and those lyrics weren't familiar to me at all.

I have just experienced induction in two complete opposite ways. :)

Alas, the indicators that this is the end for the show are becoming more evident.
