TD 424 - Closing Time (Final results)

Post by clt013 »

These questions are based on phrases relating to endings/finishes and the quiz is titled "Closing Time".

Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may use one drop and take zero points for that question
3) You may elect to take the sheep answer for one question
4) There is no bonus for not using the "drop" or "sheep", so you probably want to take the former and get a zero for one question
5) Wrong responses are the "sheep" answer +4
6) All answers are due by 8 AM Central time on Monday, June 24, 2019
7) Submit answers via this Google form or PM

Thanks for the quiz!

I did not see a requirement to specify which choice belongs to my answer, but I added the interstate number for the state I chose, and so on for most of them. It might help others if you declare that no letter or detail is needed. It also gives better odds for a lucky guess on the interstates or the phils I suppose :).

The one time I ever won a TD was one of yours, and I submitted it from a public library while I was waiting on a delayed flight... so naturally, I had to submit this one from a library as well. Well done as always.

I was not expecting to get a Singleton for either Melrose Place or Diana Ross.

For that matter, neither was I expecting John or Springsteen to be Singleton. I did, however, expect somebody to goof up the start of the Iran hostage crisis as the 1980s.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

I noted this to clt in the parting shots part of the entry form, but I found it fortuitous that I was listening to Bebe Rexha's "I'm a Mess" as I filled out the answer sheet (had not looked at the questions prior). Smug grin as I nab a singleton. 8-)
