Relying on your intel I gave Madeline a line on her J! bio. Niraj got one as well.
When was Niraj on the show?

I was asking about when he was on Jeopardy!. I don't remember most Jeopardy! non-winners as well as the Champions. However, I did think he looked familiar.

What is wrong with the "Best Ever Trivia Show" writers? The plural of Stomate is Stomata. A simple mistake like that probably means they didn't spend too much time working on that question.

40 games through August 2nd:

Appearances by Expert:
Ken: 20
Ryan: 20
Muffy: 18
Arianna: 17
Jonathan: 16
Raj: 16
Susannah: 7
David: 6

Wins by Expert: (Best during first three rounds to face winning contestant)
Ken: 10
Muffy: 8
Arianna: 7
Ryan: 7
Raj: 4
Susannah: 2
David: 1
Jonathan: 1

$10,000 wins by Contestant:
Josh: 6/12 (against Muffy)
Jake: 6/18 (against Ken)
Miguel: 7/2 (against Ken)
Eric: 7/11 (against Arianna)
Chris: 7/16 (against Ryan)
John: 7/31 (against Ken)
John: 8/1 (against Susannah)

Comments for 8/2:
Spoiler
John could not get the threepeat for the chance at expert status as the challengers outplayed him. Arianna left an opening for Barry with the 4-4 tie. I did not know the 2nd president of National Geographic though sensed TR was a trap.

The question about the decade when Janette Rankin became Congresswoman was wrong.

Janette Rankin became Congresswoman in 1916, and the 19th Amendment was passed in 1920.

Janette Rankin became Congresswoman in 1916, and the 19th Amendment was passed in 1920.
It was ratified in 1920, but it passed the House/Senate in 1919.

Has there been a clue about the passage/ratification of an amendment before? I'm curious if they're always this precise or if it was just luck.

It also depends on how you define a decade.

0-9, 1-0, or any 10-year span. (Such matters got ToCer Bob Mesko re-invited after a bad FJ in his first game.)
Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.

That was from the FJ from the episode of Bob Mesko's return. It was Brian Lamb & Holly Owens who returned later because of this FJ.

Bob Mesko's return was because of a flawed Daily Double concerning Air Force ranks.

Best Ever Trivia Show Couplet:
How both Jonathan and the contestant missed Chile? No one knows.
A not that difficult $10,000 down the drain really blows.

On the last question, Joanna was 350 points ahead of second place. Ken said he was very confident in his answer. Joanna decided to go on her own. She got it wrong and the person who was in third place for most of the game ended up winning. Talk about living dangerously.

Comments about the 8/13 show:
Spoiler
Jonathan did a little better today going 5/5 in the bonus round. Returning player Sarah was defeated making her the first $10K winner to not make the bonus round on day two.

I had a Lucario moment with no choices needed for the newspaper "Older than than the nation."

Sarah is also the first woman to win $10k.
