Lots after G to add...West Side Story, The Music Man, Wicked, Phantom...it is just anathema for me to study this stuff. Is this how most people feel watching hockey?

I know how you feel. For me it's current (and by current, I mean pretty much anything in the past 30 years ;) ) music and Oscars.

Less than a week until the online test and was hoping to do some refreshers this weekend. Just curious if anyone has any "organized" pavlov decks, whether it's a Google doc or Word doc or even an actual flashcard deck that they'd be willing to share? Obviously this thread was super helpful to comb through but it would be great if anyone some actual structured review materials.

"That one" is not Richard Rogers, either. He's Richard Rodgers.

Associating Maya Lin with China is misleading. She was born in Ohio.

For the purposes of Jeopardy it's not misleading. He parents were immigrants from China, and she designed the Museum of the Chinese in America. J! has used both Chinese and Asian to describe her. Saying she was Chinese-born is indeed incorrect though.

In other corrections news, Renzo Piano is a great deep cut, but J! associates him with the Pompidou Center (which is in Paris, gotta know that too) as much as, if not more than, Rogers. He's also "architect + musical name".

I cannot imagine that they'd ever refer to her as a Chinese architect (Chinese-American, sure) which is what I was getting at.

A couple of these are not theater. The Vicar of Wakefield is a novel. Gargantua and Pantagruel is an early novel. E.T.A. Hoffman wrote stories that were turned into an opera, The Tales of Hoffman, by Offenbach.
I think you mean The Dark at the Top of the Stairs, for Inge.
Congreve's playwrighting was confined to the 17th C., though he lived to 1729.

Was it necessary to quote that entire post?

That being said, I agree with your premise. This is intended to be a reference thread. LSV has provided some good stuff, but there's also been some sketchy and/or irrelevant-for-Jeopardy info too. Editing posts with corrections is all well and good, but maybe hit the J-Archive to confirm the veracity of your facts before posting.
